We did have issues when we arrived, the cabin had not been cleaned at all, there was urine in the toilet, on the toilet seat and floor.
The bath was dirty with soap suds in there still.
The Assistant Manager was lovely though, deeply apologised and as it was 10pm, all cleaners had left so we quickly cleaned it.
The next day we bought our own cleaning products and completely cleaned the entire place. Due to covid, it's really important this is done.
I was a bit peeved that it hadn't been cleaned but once we'd done that ourselves it was fine.
The next occupants will have a lovely cleaned cabin from us though :)
The sofa bed is the main/double bed. I highly recommend bringing along another duvet to put it on top as you can feel the bed frame when laying down.
Really helps with the extra duvet and I've slept great in it surprisingly!
There is on site entertainment but we've not been to that, there is also a pub (heard someone say it was £4.10 a pint!?) and a little shop inside the holiday park but loads available outside too.
There are bus stops around for those who don't drive.
Beach is a nice sandy one but be careful as it is quick sand/mud so read the signs. Only a 5-10 min walk.
Loads of lovely places to visit within an hour's drive, Glastonbury, Bristol, Exmouth, Cheddar.
Pontins is not for us, we prefer somewhere with a bit more privacy, these cabins are all back to back and neighbours either side, you hear everything.
The staff have been lovely when we've needed it (door fell off!).
Bring cleaning products with you and a broom. They don't supply a broom either.
Also there is no launderette here so we drove to western-super-mare to get ours done.

This was the worst holiday i have ever been on. I took my 3yr old daughter and family to Pontins for a few nights as a fun getaway but in result of me trying to be a nice and caring mother it turned into a... total disaster. We were there …

I felt right at home when I visited my friend working on hinkley point. The windows were moldy. Floor was covered in dead bugs and cobwebs filled the room.
Safety: I only had to wear my safety hat in the shower.
Noteworthy details: Gorgeous. Gorgeous. Gorgeous 😍

Wouldn’t recommend. We arrived and it was a bunch of maisonettes which didn’t look holiday like. We thought indoors might have been better but infact it was worse - dead bugs in crevices in the walls, shower was broken, lamps didn’t turn on, there was mould and dirt in every corner of our room.
It was just pure filth, it needs a whole new upgrade, items about 50 years out of date with blankets even a homeless man wouldn’t be seen with.
There were people dealing drugs under the roofs outside and arguments at 3am, the staff however did nothing to combat this nuisance and issue. It was like it was a normal thing for them with it probably would.
Staff don’t do they’re job they are very rude and are aggressive. They go on their phones instead of helping customers that they quite frankly couldn’t care for.
Needless to say I wouldn’t stay again and thank you for the experience 😘

we stayed hear a couple of years ago we found the propetertainmerty to be ok for what you pay yes some people maybe fussier than others but you have to remember you not at the ritz.
the bedding was cheap and you had to buy it from the local shop so would recommend taking your own for quality and saving money.
I don't agree with having to pay for your own electric ever should be including in the price so of the attractions on site where closed but the pool was nice and the arcade was good. but we never eat at the pub restaurant as there are better options outside the park and also plenty of entertainment as well we also found a loverly private beach not to far which the kids loved
Rooms: we had a chalet but it was ok could do with some upgrading and a lick of paint
Walkability: was close to all essentials

Brilliant place! This would have been my 42nd year here had it not been closed to the public! Had to go to John Fowler's for Country and Western week September 2023.🙄 And thoroughly enjoyed it!🙂
